This lower level remodel was done to create a suite for out of town guests to stay in. Using thoughtful material selections we were able to make the lower level feel cohesive with the rest of the home. Due to the lack of natural light we kept things light and bright. We were able to enlarge the size of the bathroom by taking over a closet which allowed us to fit a double vanity as well as a larger shower. One challenge in the bathroom was keeping access to some of the homes mechanical systems that were not able to be relocated. We solved this problem by designing touch latch access panels that we integrated into the custom wall paneling.
